Christ Embassy Pastor, Wife Declared Wanted by EFCC for Alleged N2bn

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission(EFCC), has declared a couple, Onyinmiebi (Miebi Baraza) and Beatrice Bribena, wanted.

Pastor Onyinmiebi is the Chief Executive Officer of Baraza Multipurpose Cooperative, based in Bayelsa State.

The EFCC declared the couple wanted for alleged case of Conspiracy, Obtaining money by false pretence, money laundering and Ponzi Scheme to the turn of N2 billion,  this was posted on their official Facebook page on Thursday 9 June. the statement was signed by the Head Media and Publicity of EFCC, Wilson Uwujaren. Reads:

“The general public is hereby notified that Onyimiebi Bribena and Beatrice Bribena, whose photographs appear above are wanted by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) in an alleged case of conspiracy, obtaining money by false pretence, money laudering, and Ponzi scheme to the tune of Two billion Naira (2,000,000,000,00) only.

“Bribena and Beatrice are both natives of Yenagoa Local Government Area of Bayelsa state. “Their last known address is No 163 Mbiama Yenagoa Road, Biogbolo, Bayelsa state.

“Anybody with useful information as to their whereabouts should please contact the Commission in its Benin, Kaduna, Ibadan, Sokoto, Gombe, Maiduguri, Makurdi, Ilorin, Enugu, Kano, Lagos, Gombe, Port Harcourt, and Abuja offices or through these numbers 09-9044751-3, 0B093322644, 08183322644, 070-26350721-3, 070-6350724-5; Its e-mail address: info@efcc.gov.ng or the nearest Police Station and other security agencies.”
