Popular Nigerian comedian AY Makun commonly known as AY has penned down a thoughtful message few days after being dragged for an insensitive joke about Davido.
He took to his Instagram page to share a new picture of himself alongside a well thought out message.
He noted how when people stop expecting others to be perfect, they will appreciate them the way they are.
He went on to admonish the public to always set high standards for life, love, creativity and wisdom.
Stating that if expectations in this areas of life are low one will not experience wellness.
“Peace can only be achieved through coexistence. “Coexistence doesn’t mean giving up our beliefs, but rather respecting others’ rights to their own.” “Coexistence empowers us to build bridges instead of walls.” “Coexistence calls for empathy and compassion towards others.”
Intolerance is a worldwide pandemic. I have learned how to quit the contractions and start the construction. Having said that, let us be about setting high standards for life, love, creativity, and wisdom. If our expectations in these areas are low, we are not likely to experience wellness. Setting high standards makes every day and every decade worth looking forward to.
I am presently looking forward to the premiere of my new movie MERRY MEN 3, this Wednesday. it will also be in the cinemas across Nigeria from this Friday. When you stop expecting people to be perfect, you can like them for who they are or teach them from a place of love to become better persons”.
