Deputy Gov: I Have Never Failed In Any Leadership Role

Popular Nollywood actress, Tonto Dikeh said she has never failed in any leadership role, which makes her believe she’s capable of winning as Deputy Governor.

WAKADAILY earlier reported that, Tonto was nominated as the running mate to Tonte Ibraye, for the governorship candidate of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) in Rivers State.

Ibraye announced on Friday 24th he said, “After a series of consultations with leaders of our party, the African Democratic Congress (ADC) in Rivers State and the national level, I’m glad to announce Ambassador Tonto Dikeh as my running mate for the 2023 gubernatorial election in Rivers State.

Tonto while speaking on Channels Television Politics on Sunday said, “I am prepared for anything, truthfully. I have had three years to work on this, its not something that I just came out or emerged with. We’ve had a lot of time to work on this and for this. Criticism, I am ready, non-criticism I am ready. So, it doesn’t matter where the questions are coming from.

“I have failed in my life and I’m not denying that. Everyone has seen that, but I have never failed in leadership.”

She further said her foundation stood up for the country during the pandemic, “I did even more than the government.”
