The mother of Mohbad’s embattled close friend, Primeboy has called for help over the continuous detection of her son by the Lagos State Police.
Recall that Police had on October 6 said Mohbad’s tragic death was as a result of his fight with his childhood friend, Ibrahim Owodunni, aka Primeboy.
The police arrested several suspects, including the auxiliary nurse that gave him injections, Feyisoya Ogedengbe, Sam Larry, Naira Marley, and Primeboy.
Reacting to the development on Monday, Primeboy’s mother said her son and Mohbad shared a deep bond since childhood and would never harm him in any way.
She called on Nigerians to come to her aid, saying that she did not want to lose Primeboy after losing Mohbad, whom she considered her son.
Her words: “My fellow Nigerians. My patriotic Nigerians, I am addressing this to you. I came out because of you. I beg you in the name of God have mercy on me. Iyabo Ojo, as you are going and coming, you will not experience evil. I know you always say the truth and your intelligence will not be taken from you.
“It is Iya Primeboy who is talking, I don’t know anybody. That’s why I taught my children how to be content. Please, I need your help to come to my rescue. Don’t let me cry over my child. I don’t have a child that can do something like that.
“Do not let them use my son to settle war. Hamzat, please help me.
“Mohbad’s death is even more painful to me and my child. I don’t have a murderer in my family. Even Mohbad, whom you are talking about, used to live together with my children. You can go and ask. Even where I’m selling food outside, it is Mohbad who helped me fix the place for me. Is it the death of the same person that I or my child will be happy about? The time Mohbad wanted to start helping me is when they eliminated him. Please don’t let them take Ibrahim (Primeboy) away from me.”
