Nollywood actor Patrick Uchenna Attah, has revealed that he was once in a relationship with seasoned actress Genevieve Nnaji.

The Germany-based thespian in a recent interview with MecksoncrownBTV said their relationship in the 90s was a serious one which lasted for over two years.

Pat Attah said, “Ain’t going to lie. We had something going, we were both serious and for some reason, we had to break up when we had to break up. But that doesn’t mean that the whole thing wasn’t serious”.

The 47-year-old affirmed that their relationship wasn’t a secret but was easier to keep private because the used of social media in the 90s was not rampant as it is now.

He said, “No it wasn’t like a secret something. It wasn’t like we were having an affair or a fling or something We went places together. We were serious with each other. She was good to me and I was good to her but along the line, we felt like it wasn’t working out so we decided to part ways, but we’re not enemies.”

Pat also clarified that they ended on good terms and the break up was not as a result of their profession.

Speaking on his experience with gay producers/marketers in the movie sector.

He said, “Yes I’ve been approached by gay filmmakers. That was longtime ago. I actually don’t remembers that guy’s name. I don’t even know if he is still alive or dead. I remember, sometime ago, I was shooting a movie in the east and this guy kind of approached me. And made offers and everything. I told him, ‘Sorry bro, I’m straight.”

Genevieve Nnaji continuous silence on social media has left her fans worried. The actress and producer recently deleted all the videos and pictures on her instagram page.

Nnaji who has over 8.5 million followers on Instagram unfollowed all the accounts she is following, leaving her millions of followers worried.
