Hanks Anuku was born on August 27, 1960, in Ibadan, Nigeria but He originally hails from Delta State, Nigeria.

Hanks Anuku made his debut movie role in 1993 after joining the movie industry. He first featured in the movie Skeleton and was absolutely a talent to reckon with, having shown a good interpretation of his role.
