Nollywood actress Rita Edochie has shared her thoughts on the state of her industry, which she believes is filled with negativity and jealousy.
In a post on her Instagram page, which has since been deleted, she advised her followers not to be swayed by the love they see on social media, as it is all fake.
She questioned the purpose of pride and unnecessary displays of wealth when everyone will eventually face their downfall.
Rita Edochie, a veteran in the industry, expressed her confusion as to why there is so much hatred and competition among her colleagues.
She questioned the need for this constant rivalry and even went as far as wondering why some people want to harm others.
She observed that many individuals become envious as soon as they see others succeeding, and only show genuine love when someone passes away.

She expressed her frustration with people slamming Nollywood and emphasized that deaths are a natural occurrence that happens everywhere, clarifying that nobody is intentionally causing harm in the industry.
Rita urged those spreading rumors to cease their defamatory actions and reminded everyone that death is an inevitable part of being human.
