Popular music producer and singer, Samklef has now turned his focus towards Seun Kuti, an Afrobeat artist.

Remember that a year ago, the son of the late Fela Kuti was taken into custody for slapping a police officer. Samklef used this incident to mock him, pointing out that he and Very Dark Man were once cellmates but not anymore.

Samklef then proposed that Nigerians should now refer to Seun as Very Noise Man. Additionally, he jokingly suggested that Very Dark Man should be appointed as the President, while Seun should take on the role of Vice President.

“From today make una Dey call am very noise man. him very dark man join that. E mop or mopping stick party. Both of dem be ex-cell mates. Very dark dirty man for president x very noisy mumu man for vice president”.

According to wakadaily On May 13th, 2023, Seun Kuti became the talk of all social media due to a video showing him physically attacking a Nigerian police officer at Third Mainland Bridge.

In his defense, Seun Kuti claimed that the policeman had intentions of harming him and his family. He confidently stated that he possessed evidence to support his claims, although he emphasized that he wasn’t seeking attention or popularity. Additionally, Seun Kuti revealed that the police officer had apologized to him and, as a result, he had decided not to pursue legal action.

Regrettably, the Inspector General of Police, Usman Baba, has issued an order for his arrest and a thorough investigation into the underlying reasons for the alleged assault, as well as the appropriate prosecution of the suspect.

After a week he was granted bail and released from the State Criminal Investigation Department, Panti, Lagos. His lawyer, Adeyinka Olumide-Fusika, SAN, confirmed this in a phone interview with Punch.

In his initial public statement, he expressed gratitude to his wife, family, and legal team, acknowledging that he attributes his freedom and mental well-being to them.
