Nigerian rapper Speed Darlington’s legal team, has issued a statement on social media in relation to the Burnaboy incidence.

According to his statement, speed Darlington’s lawyer said the video that the singer made implying that Burnaboy slept with Diddy was only a joke.

His lawyer also said that the video was never targeted at any ill intent, and that Speed Darlington didn’t know that it would get such media coverage.

Going forward, Speed Darlington’s legal team also said that the singer has the utmost respect for all mothers and women in general, so if any of his statements was being misconstrued as disrespect towards Burnaboy’s mother, then it shouldn’t be taken as such.

Lastly, Speed Darlington’s team said that the singer has reached out privately to extend an olive branch and clear out the air on the whole situation.
