I don’t know if Tinubu is in Nigeria, says Oshiomhole

Former Edo State Governor and Deputy Director of the Presidential Campaign Council of the All Progressives Congress, Adams Oshiomhole said his not aware if Bola Tinubu is in Nigeria or not.

Oshiomhole noted this during his appearance on Channels Television’s Politics Today, Wednesday.

When asked if the presidential candidate of the party is around, his response, “I don’t report to him every day. So I’m not sure if he’s around or not.

When reminded that he is the Deputy Director-General of Tinubu’s campaign team and should be working closely with him ( Tinubu), Oshiomhole said: “That will be when the campaign council is inaugurated and my office is activated. That has not been done yet.”

Oshiomhole said, “We are yet to inaugurate our campaign council because the Chairman (President Muhammadu Buhari) was away in New York.

Wakadaily reports that, “The APC presidential Campaign Council has postponed it’s campaign earlier scheduled for Wednesday 28, 2022.

Director General of the presidential Campaign Council and Governor of Plateau State, Simon Lalong announced this in a statement on Tuesday.
