Popular Nigerian Afropop singer, Harrison Okiri aka Harrysong has taken to social media to drag his former label boss, Kcee over his royalties.
The ‘Reggae Blues’ crooner took to his Instagram stories to call out the 5 Star music boss, to refund his money and release his songs.
Recall that Harrysong left Five Star Music in 2016, according to him, he was not being appreciated for his efforts.
Another report alleged that the singer was making money by the side without the knowledge of 5 star Music.
The misunderstanding escalated and he left and started his own record label `Alter Plate Music Company’.
Speaking after seven years, Harrysong wrote, “I’m here to beg you all to help me and follow me beg Kingsley Okonkwo, known as Kcee, to refund my money and release my songs.
“For more than 7 years now, he’s been the one collecting 100 percent of my Royalties from Reggae Blues, baba for the Girls, samankwe, better Pikin, oteshe, and call my bag songs. He collects one hundred percent of all my royalties. It’s not fair.
At least, he can take his percentage and give me what is rightfully mine. I started this by begging na beg I dey beg am, I know he likes to bully, he’s the power mike, help me beg him, he should at least be fair to give me what is rightfully mine.
May God not let us work and another man just be reaping our hard end sweet in Jesus name”.
The songwriter further called on his fans to beg the 5 star boss, “Y’all help me beg him. I deserve what is rightfully mine. It’s not hair him collecting all my royalties 100 💯 percent. Not fair at all. Don’t insult him. Pls help me beg him”.
