Former dancehall singer Cynthia Morgan, now known as Madrina, has reached out to Davido regarding his ongoing feud with Wizkid.
According to Wakadaily, Wizkid had provoked Davido by sharing a humiliating video of Davido allegedly begging a woman for sex.
Wizkid posted the video online while interacting with his fans who were pressuring him to release new music, challenging them to beg him like Davido did. In response, Davido called out Wizkid, accusing him of being mentally unstable and a woman abuser.
Davido also pleaded with Wizkid to respond, and Wizkid retaliated by using the same embarrassing video that Davido had used to mock him.
In her Instagram story, Cynthia expressed her belief that Davido would simply brush off Wizkid’s tweet and find it amusing.
She emphasized that when someone fails to react appropriately, things can escalate and become chaotic.
Nevertheless, she does not hold Davido responsible for responding to Wizkid.
“I swear I thought David was gonna laugh over that tweet. When you don’t pop off when you should when you finally do things get crãzy. Don’t blame him much”.
Talent manager Paulo Okoye also expressed his disappointment in them and urged them to stop, describing their actions as disgraceful.
Music producer Samklef pointed out that without Wizkid, artists like Davido would not have a platform. He emphasized that Wizkid was the reason why young people are pursuing music today.
Big Brother Naija winner Phyna also sided with Wizkid, boldly stating that he was like a father figure to her and expressing her love for him.
Isreal DMW defended his boss Davido, expressing his displeasure with Wizkid and calling him foolish. He advised Wizkid to retire from music instead of leaving in a messy manner.
Celebrity designer and fashion stylist Toyin Lawani of Tiannah Empire warned those involved in the ongoing feud that they would appear foolish.
