Yvonne Jegede desires a partner who possesses both intelligence and empathy, as she shared in an interview on The Honest Bunch podcast.
She specifically state wanting a man who would be willing to provide her with N20million when she requests N1million. This preference comes after her previous marriage ended.
“Person wey get good mind na im I dey find. If you get good mind, you get empathy, I fit say ‘Baby, give me N1million, you go give me N20million”.
Her statement has received a variety of reactions, with some blasting her for seeking a man who can financially support her.

In other parts of the interview, Yvonne shared that she ended her marriage because she was the main financial provider, which caused problems. The famous actress also expressed regret for choosing love over money. She mentioned that her ex-husband took offense to every joke because he was older than her, which made things worse.
To recap, Jegede met Bukky Ajayi’s son while working on the popular TV series “Behind the Siege” directed by Tade Ogidan.
After being together for a while, they got married in a fancy ceremony in Lagos in February 2018.
Unfortunately, the marriage didn’t last long, and they separated a year later while Yvonne was still pregnant.
During an interview, Yvonne revealed that her ex-husband is an absent father who hasn’t shown any support or interest in their son, Xavier.
She stated how Olakunle Fawole only visited their child once after she gave him an ultimatum, and he doesn’t celebrate their son’s birthdays.
However, Yvonne is grateful for her son and reflects on how her life would have turned out if she hadn’t given birth before the marriage fell apart.
She admitted that she would have considered suicide but thanks her mini-me for bringing completeness to her life.
