I’m voting Obi because he is better candidate, not because his Igbo – Chinneylove Eze

Nollywood actress turned filmmaker, Chinneylove Eze, has given reasons why she preferred the Labour Party’s presidential candidate, Peter Obi over other contestants for the February 25 poll.

The actress who is undoubtedly one of the youngest successful movie producers in Nigeria, urged youths and her colleagues to come together and fight for a better Nigeria rather than engaging in verbal war.

Taking to her Instagram page to give her reasons she said, “It is not one tribe against another, it should be the youths against the evil politicians. When we came together as one during the EndSars, they were shaken. Now they are trying to use our most powerful tool (unity) against ourselves. Ain’t we seeing what these guys are doing?”

“We stood together in 2020! History will never forget that date. Now they are trying to use us against ourselves, “saying vote your candidate and let’s vote ours in peace  because they fear what we can do together.

Chinneylove Eze added that, “I am not Voting peter Obi because i know him personally or because he is Igbo, I am voting him because if he wins for the first time ever in history will it be known that We the Nigerians Elected our president and not the other way round, and this will send a signal to politicians moving on that if you must come to us to canvass for votes you must Come correct.

Voting for the present Government? And yet you Dey travel go America go born all your children, you Dey plan relocate your family? Shey you Dey whine me ni?  Nigeria is exhausting please let’s get it right this time,” she said.
