Imo killing: Gunmen invade Imo community, destroy properties, after killing 4 policemen, 1 Okada rider  

Some yet to be identified gunmen invaded Izombe community in the Oguta Local Government Area of Imo State, shooting sporadically and destroying properties on Saturday.

Just few hours after they invaded a neighbouring community in Agwa, killing four police officers and one Okada rider.

Residents fled into the bushes from their homes for safety following the incident. Some persons had accused members of the Ebubeagu security outfit of being responsible for the shootings.

Effort to reach the police spokesperson, for the command, Micheal Abattam, was abortive.
