Movie star, Iyabo Ojo has reacted to the N500 million lawsuit by Olalekan Ojo, lawyer of Nigerian singer, Naira Marley brought against her.

Recall that the Marlians Music Record boss had demanded a public apology and N500 million in demand from the actress.

However, Iyabo Ojo in her response demanded N1 billion from Naira Marley over the failure to serve her a pre-action letter.

The Nollywood actress via her Instagram page expressed her displeasure with the way the legal action was brought to her.

Iyabo through her counsel said, “Our client would’ve ordinarily dismissed your letter dated December 12, 2023, for being outrightly inconsequential and of no relevance, premised on your failure to transmit the correspondence till this very day.

“Our client finds your client’s demands spurious, frivolous and clout-chasing but shall initiate an action in case your client fails to do so. Our client shall be claiming the sum of N1bn.”
