The family of the late actor, Junior Pope, has spoken to the public regarding a viral burial poster of the actor that is circulating online.

Wakadaily previously reported that the family had announced the details of his funeral arrangements. The actor will be laid to rest on May 17th, 2024, in his hometown in Enugu state.

Many observant fans noticed that the obituary poster did not include the word ‘husband’, which caused speculation since Junior Pope was married to Jennifer Awele and they have three sons.

Now, the family has clarified that they did not authorize the burial poster that is circulating online. They have stated that the poster requires some corrections and have asked for the public’s assistance in removing it.

“Dear Junior Pope Fans, I wanted to bring to your attention that the current poster of our late brother Junior Pope displayed needs some corrections.The family has requested your assistance in bringing it down.They mentioned that the revised version will be released soon.

Thank you for your understanding and cooperation”.

Remember that movie producer Stanley Nwoko had previously responded to those questioning why the word ‘Husband’ was not included in Junior Pope’s obituary. He advised them to ask the late actor’s brother for an explanation.

Nwoko stated that he wanted to speak up about the situation, but Nigerians silenced him. He claimed to have a lot of information but chose not to share it because nobody believed him when he initially tried to speak out.

Prior to this, actor Dave Ogbeni had hinted that there were issues in Junior Pope’s marriage before his death. Ogbeni shared his last interaction with the actor, stating that Junior Pope had confided in him about his deteriorating health and his desire to share his story with bloggers. However, Ogbeni convinced him not to do so.

Supporting Ogbeni’s claims, a Twitter user named Papi Jnr made a serious accusation against Junior Pope’s wife, Jennifer Awele. Papi Jnr accused her of having affairs with wealthy men and causing difficulties in the actor’s life.

It is no longer a secret that the actor passed away two weeks ago after drowning in the Anam River while returning from a movie shoot. Junior Pope, along with five others, lost their lives in the boat accident.
