‘My facecard never declines’ – Mercy Aigbe responds to ex Lanre Gentry

Nollywood actress Mercy Aigbe Adeoti has replied to her ex- husband, Asiwaju Lanre Gentry, who slammed her for keeping their son away from him.

Earlier today, Wakadaily revealed that Lanre Gentry blasted Mercy Aigbe while celebrating their son, Olajuwon Gentry’s 14th birthday on social media.

He posted pictures of their son and accused his ex-wife of taking him away. However, he is content that their son is growing up acknowledging him as his father and feels that he can approach him for anything without his mother’s involvement.

Mercy Aigbe posted stunning photos of herself wearing a two-piece outfit, possibly in response to Lanre Gentry’s previous post. She confidently proclaimed that her beauty never fades, indirectly challenging her ex-partner.

She wrote, “Running Errands
And YES! My Facecard Never Declines!!!! If you doubt, check the last slides.”

Remember that Lanre Gentry and Mercy Aigbe had a series of arguments, particularly on special occasions like Father’s Day or Children’s Day.

Lanre Gentry confirmed the paternity of his son, Olajuwon, despite the concerns raised by Nigerians who had previously turned against him.

One of the dispute between Lanre Gentry and Mercy Aigbe occurred when fans reacted to Funsho Adeoti, the first wife of Kazim Adeoti, who accused Mercy Aigbe of having an affair with her husband while she was taking care of her son.

In response to these accusations, some concerned internet users flooded Lanre Gentry’s Instagram page, urging him to conduct a DNA test for his son Olajuwon.

Lanre Gentry reacted by insulting Mercy Aigbe, using derogatory language and questioning the need for multiple DNA tests, even comparing it to testing dogs.

In September 2021, Lanre Gentry got married to his new partner, Oluwabusola, in a traditional ceremony filled with vibrant colors. He also became the father of a baby girl.
