Nollywood actress Uche Ogbdo stirred reactions from netizens with the video of her praying for her newborn baby.
The actress who welcomed her third child recently had shared a video of herself praying for her newborn.
She shared the video with a caption giving gratitude to God as she noted that only she knows what he has done for her.
“Only thanksgiving to God of the whole universe from this praying mum. Only I know what you have done for me, I do not take it for granted. Thank you my Baba God”.
The video didn’t sit well with many netizens who slammed her for sharing a prayer session with her newborn son on the internet, asking how they would take her seriously with such attitude.
Some of the reactions to the video are below
Yvites wrote: “How will I take you seriously Uche? Who prays and makes a video? Congratulations”
The Zone Bars wrote: “Praying in cameras meaning it’s gonna be edited, delete and redo, filters if possible. Anyway you be Nollywood star so it’s ok”
Sasha Itota wrote: “Sow what do u want us to do now that you are praying, we should tell u thank u, welldone or send u money for praying?”
Chichi Kujore wrote: “You sha know that you are praying to your online viewers because I don’t get the essence of recording yourself praying for your baby. Like I don’t get it. You are praying and will still be wondering if your recorder is capturing everything. Where exactly do you think your heat and kind will be while doing this? On the record or solely on God. Common. Congratulations by the way“.
Uche Ogbdo is not the only celebrity who has been dragged for sharing a prayer session online.
Her colleague and ex-bestie Anita Joseph had also been dragged recently for sharing a praying video of herself and her husband MC Fish.
The actress had shared the video to advise her followers on what to look out for when choosing one’s potential suitor.
But the video didn’t sit well with many who slammed her for chasing clout with the God’s name.
