After facing backlash and being shunned by the music industry due to the death of Mohbad, Nigerian artist Naira Marley has experienced a significant decline in his reputation.

Despite his previous potential to sell out the 02 Arena in London, he is now being ridiculed on social media for his inability to secure any performances.

A video circulating on Twitter, now referred to as X, shows Naira Marley and his assistant, Sam Larry, attending a street party, which has further fueled mockery and criticism towards them.

Remember that Naira Marley and Sam Larry lost the respect of Nigerians when a video of Sam assaulting the late Mohbad was shared online.

This video caused a lot of reactions from the online community and resulted in Naira Marley and his label being canceled.

Both of them were arrested and held in police custody for over five weeks, but they were released on November 17th after meeting their bail requirements.

Since their release, the singer and his assistant have been involved in various charitable acts in an attempt to regain the support of Nigerians.

Some time ago, a video surfaced online showing an Imam forcing Naira and Sam Larry to say Amen for the killers of Mohbad, which caused a lot of controversy.

The Imam later spoke out about the incident, revealing that they had confessed to him that they were innocent and had no involvement in Mohbad’s death.

The cleric also revealed that Naira Marley and Sam Larry were the ones who asked him to say a prayer for the killers of Mohbad.

Recently, Sam Larry faced embarrassment at a club when a guest confronted him about Mohbad’s death and questioned where the boy he allegedly killed was.

This caused Sam Larry to become angry and he was captured on video venting his frustration while being restrained by some individuals.
