Nigerian Breweries announces price hike effective August 10

Nigerian Breweries (NB PLC) has announced a price increase on all of their products starting on August 10, which is a significant move that will affect beer lovers across the country.

The decision, which was made in a letter dated August 1, 2023 and obtained by Wakadaily, explained the need to review prices in light of the ongoing increase in input costs and the need to lessen its effects.

“This is to inform you that we will review the prices of some of our SKUs effective Thursday 10th August 2023.”

The Board of Directors of Nigerian Breweries Plc, Nigeria’s foremost brewing company, earlier announced a revenue of N277 billion for the half-year of 2023.

According to the Nigerian Exchange Limited (NGX), the company recorded a marginal growth in the revenue compared to the N274 billion recorded in the corresponding period in 2022.
