Nigerian pilgrim dies in Saudi Arabia 

The National Hajj Commission of Nigeria on Friday confirmed the death of another pilgrim in Saudi Arabia, Hasiya Aminu, from Kaduna State.

News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reported that the Chief of Operations and Head of Nigerian Medical Mission, Dr Usman Galadima, said that no cause had been ascertained for her death.

According to reports “She died in her sleep shortly after returning from Mount Arafat, her neighbours in the tent says.

“Nigerian pilgrims were among the over one million performing the 2022 Hajj operations in Arafat.

“The Arafat is the place where Prophet Muhammed delivered his last sermon on a Friday prior to his death.

“Galadima noted that Aminu’s family had already been informed of her death, and she would be buried according to Islamic rites.”

Wakadaily gathered that Nigerian pilgrim, Aisha Ahmed on Wednesday 29th June, died in Makkah, Saudi Arabia following an undisclosed illness.”
