NNPCL denies adjusting fuel pump prices

Following the criticism and high price of petroleum, the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited(NNPC), has denied  claims that it has decreased the pump price of petrol and diesel.

Olufemi Soneye, the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPCL)  spokesperson explained that the claim was false, also urged Nigerians to disregard it.

From the news gathered, some post on some various social platforms over the week revealed that NNPCL has decreased the pump price of petrol below N600, while diesel was also decreased to 900.

Also, the firm said: “The NNPC Limited wishes to clarify rumours suggesting a price adjustment for Premium Motor Spirit and Automotive Gas Oil at its retail stations nationwide.

The company asserts that these reports are false and urges Nigerians to disregard them entirely.

NNPC Ltd reaffirms its commitment to sustaining the current sufficiency in petroleum products supply across all its retail stations in the country.”
