He became prominent as the gubernatorial candidate for the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) for the 2023 Lagos gubernatorial election alongside his running mate, Funke Akindele.
He is also the chairman of the Lagos4Lagos movement and was awarded the 2021 Honorary Doctorate in Leadership and Governance by South American University, Lagos, Nigeria.

Early Life & Education
Jandor was born Abdul-Azeez Olajide Adediran on November 25, 1977, in Mushin area of Lagos State.
His parents are Alhaji Adediran and the Late Mrs. Ruth Oluwafunmilayo. He is the 5th born in a family of 8 children.
He had a very good basic education and also furthered his studies for tertiary education. He attended The Polytechnic Ibadan; Modul University, Vienna; the Howard University School of Business, Washington DC, USA; and Oxford University, Oxford, United Kingdom.
Career
Jandor began as a journalist where he practiced for more than 15 years. He delved into politics and joined the All Progressive Congress (APC).
He became the convener of the Lagos4Lagos movement under APC. He deflected to the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) and became their gubernatorial candidate for the 2023 Lagos gubernatorial election with his running mate, Funke Akindele, who is also an actress and movie producer.
Apart from being a politician, Jandor is also an entrepreneur, technocrat, and philanthropist. He is a member of professional bodies such as; the Nigerian Union of Journalists (NUT), the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR), the Broadcasting Organization of Nigeria, Advertising Practitioners Council of Nigeria (APCON).
As a successful entrepreneur, he is the Chairman and Group CEO of Core Media Group, a conglomerate that comprises companies like CoreTVNews, a 24hr digital terrestrial television station; he is chairman of Datanet Project Services; The Floral Consult; and chairman of Jandor Foundation.

Olajide Adediran is married to Maryam Olajide Adediran and their union is blessed with two children namely; Fareedah Oluwamayokun Amoke and Fadhilulah Oluwamurewa Adedayo Akanniade Olajide-Adediran.
