Ossai Success, an assistant to the Governor of Delta State, has strongly criticized Nigerian singer Paul Okoye for showing disrespect towards his in-laws during his traditional wedding.

According to a report by Wakadaily, Paul Okoye recently got married to his girlfriend, Ivy Ifeoma, in a traditional ceremony.

Videos circulating online showed the singer and his new wife in her hometown in Igbere, Abia State, where they performed the necessary marriage rituals with her family.

On Sunday, Paul Okoye shared pictures from their traditional wedding on his Instagram page, captioning them with “IfyNonso”.

Ossai Success expressed his disapproval of a photo shared by the singer online, slamming him for disrespecting his in-laws.

In the photo, the singer was wearing a cap while an older person prayed for him and his wife, which Ossai believed showed disrespect towards the elder.

Ossai explained that the singer should have removed his cap while receiving prayers, especially considering that the elder was not only older but also a family member.

Ossai further commented on how the younger generation lacks respect due to their wealth.

“This is a total disrespect for the elder praying .

An elder is praying for Rudeboy of P Square during his traditional marriage days back and he is putting on cap.

Out of respect for the elder and his prayer , he ought to have pull off his cap while receiving prayer .

The man is not just an elder but an inlaw to him.

Young guys of nowadays lack respect because of money in their possession.

This is disrespect to the elder , his prayer and also to culture”.

Ossai has been making headlines recently for his habit of slamming celebrities, especially those who are getting married.

In February, he blasted Moses Bliss for posting a photo with his fiancee after she had been called to a bar.

Ossai accused the singer of going against Christian values and committing fornication.

He also pointed out that as a gospel singer, Moses Bliss should have known better.

Similarly, Ovie slammed Gospel musician Theophilus Sunday for his pre-wedding shoot.

Ovie claimed that it is traditionally taboo and morally wrong in Christianity for a man to hold the waist of a woman who is not his wife.

He emphasized that as a Minister of God, Theophilus was promoting immorality with the photo.

Furthermore, Ossai also blast actor Zubby Michael for his choice of outfit at Junior Pope’s funeral.

He expressed his disappointment at Zubby wearing a red T-shirt, considering it disrespectful and annoying to the deceased.
