The People’s Democratic Party (PDP) candidate for the governorship election in Osun State, Ademola Adeleke, expressed his confidence in winning the election.
Speaking after casting his vote at Unit 009, Ward 02, Abogunde/Sagba, Ede North in Osun state.
He said with the feelers he was getting across the state, calmness was the order of the day and he expects the situation to remain the same till the end of the electoral process.
When asked about INEC’s performance so far, Adeleke said: “It is fantastic. I think INEC has improved. They can do better but they have improved and I must give them credit.
“I am not afraid, I am confident of winning the election.”
He talked about the vote buying, urging INEC to do their job, so Osun election won’t be like that of Ekiti, we want this election to be transparent, peaceful, free and fair.
“We want this election to be a point of contact for 2023. The whole world is watching us and this is going to be a test for us all. So, let Osun people decide who they want.”
