The Peopls Democratic Party (PDP) presidential candidate, Atiku Abubarka finally met with the Rivers State governor, Nyesom Wike in London.
Recall that the relationships between Atiku and Wike became sour in June this year, shortly after Atiku picked Delta State Governor Ifeanyi Okowa as his running mate.
The former vice president was on Thursday spotted in a photograph with governor Wike of Rivers; governor of Oyo State Seyi Makinde; governor of Abia State Okezie Ikpeazu; and Samuel Ortom governor of Benue State.
The meeting held shortly after Wike met with the Labour Party presidential candidate, Peter Obi, former president Obasanjo, and some other governors in the United Kingdom.
Although details of the meeting between the two PDP leaders are yet to be ascertained, Wakadaily learnt that it was geared towards seeking Wike’s support for Atiku in the forthcoming 2023 general election.
