A popular Nigeria Comedian, Seyi Law has reacted towards a trending video of himself telling people his regret for voting for president Tinubu at the presidential election which was held in 2023.
Singer Eedris Abudulkareem earlier claimed that Seyi Law said he regretted supporting the President.
During the presidential election, Seyi Law was among the few celebrities who boldly took out his time to engage in the campaign for President Tinubu.
A year later, Seyi had regretted his decision, he stated how people had insulted and rein curses on him, they stopped giving him money at his show over his support for the President.
The Comedian made this known to Eedris as they meet at an event, according to him, the reason he voted Tinubu was for the interest he had in his mandate, adding that he never collected a dime from Mr President.
However, Seyi Law in a tweet debunked the reports.
Also reacting, another netizen showed up the same video of him expressing his regret for supporting Tinubu at his recent show. Seyi quickly remembered what Eedris had said in the same video as he got fed up over the mandate of Tinubu.
In addition to that he said people don’t spray him money again just because he supported the current administration.
Reaction to the video, Seyi stood to his words that he never mentioned such statement, he further questioned if people can’t differentiate between joke and reality.
“Thanks for posting this first. I have been looking for someone who recorded my performance. So where did I tell Eedris I made the biggest mistake? Is it that he thinks a joke is a reality?”, he tweeted.
This comes barely 24 hours Seyi had dumped support for Tinubu, saying even if another election comes up tomorrow, he will still vote for Tinubu.
However he made an illustration, saying that he would rather stay with Moses through the wilderness than to eat meat and drink wine in slavery in Egypt, stating the fact that Moses was Tinubu while Egypt was Peter Obi.
He further said alot of Nigerians are killing the hope of others with hatred, jealousy all in the name of pleasure he added that it is a privilege to him, because he is more informed than the rest Nigerians.
