Teni Early Life & Education
Teni was born in the southwest region of Nigeria, Lagos State. She was born into the family of Mr. (late) and Mrs. Simeon Apata.
Her dad Simeon Apata was said to have been murdered in cold blood death back in early January of 1995 by some unknown gunmen. She is the younger sister to the Nigerian popular singer Niniola.
Teni attended her primary and secondary education at the Apata Memorial High School, a school that was owned by her late dad.
After acquiring her first school living certificate and West African Examination Council (WAEC) she went further to American Intercontinental University in the USA where she obtained a degree in Business Administration.
Teni Career
Teni started her music career and got signed up by Magic Finger Records, owned by Shizzi; a top producer in the year 2016.
After which she was signed into Dr. Dolor Entertainment records in 2017 where she worked with some artists on the label where she became a play-up.
Teni started by freestyling her music on INSTAGRAM. Her hit single Fargin brought her to the limelight as the song was accepted and loved by a wide range of music lovers.
Teni has written songs for the DMW founder Davido and has also released a cool, awesome, and large number of songs such as; Billionaire, Wait, Askamaya in 2018, Super Woman, Sugar Mummy in 2019, and a vast of others.
She won Member of the Order of the Niger (MON), a Nigerian National award conferred by President Muhammadu Buhari in October 2022.
