Terrorists who abducted Abuja-Kaduna train passengers on 28 March 2022 released a fresh video in which they were seen flogging the male passengers and vowed to kill and sell some.

The two minutes, 50 seconds video which went viral on Sunday morning, showed male victims crying as they were being flogged by the terrorists, “One of the victims, a male said the terrorists don’t plan to keep them, hostage for more than a week except for the laxity of the Federal Government in paying up the demanded ransom.

He pleaded with the international community and United Nations to come to their aid as the Federal Government had failed to act in setting them free.”

One of the terrorists then warned that they would be going after prominent Nigerians, He also threatened that they would kill some of the abductees in their custody and sell others off like they did with the Chibok schoolgirls.

He said, “This is our message to the government of Nigeria and just as you have seen these people here, by God’s grace, you will see your leaders; your senators and governors will come before us. These ones you are seeing here, we will keep some as our slaves and sell them off just as our Imam told you in the past.

“Just like the Chibok girls that were sold off, we will equally sell these as slaves. If you don’t adhere to our demands, we will kill the ones we need to kill and sell the remaining. By God’s grace, El-Rufai, Buhari, we will bring you here.”

Recall that it’s been 4 months since the Abuja-Kaduna train attack, on April 7, they released the Managing Director of the Bank of the Agriculture, Alwan Hassan, after he paid an N100 million ransom.

Meanwhile, on July 9, seven of the victims were later released after reportedly paying an N800 million ransom.

The terrorists are said to be demanding N100 million for the remaining 43 victims.
