Nigerian musician and producer Simi has carpet skit maker Nons Miraj, Ashmusy and others for wrongly representing African Mums.

The skit makers had posted a video portraying African mums on a dinner, they dressed like African mums and went out for a dinner.

The video captures all moments, from entering the restaurant to been served their food and them eating in a disgusting manner while taking photos like a typical African mums, and packing all the utensils.

Reacting to this video, Singer and mother of 1 took to her microblogging platform X to states that the skit makers looked a mess and were eating like dogs which got her mad.

She also stated that it was a wrong representation of the beautiful Afrincan Mums as she doesn’t know any African mother who act like that and urge that to do better in making skits.

She said, “That video about African moms where they looked a mess and we’re eating like dogs made me mad af.

I don’t know anybody’s mom that acts like that. Y’all get your jokes together”.

Many social media users have taken to social media to react to get statement, many agree with her while others noted that it was just a joke.
