Tinubu Absent as presidential candidates sign peace accord

The presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Tinubu was absent when some other presidential candidates for the 2023 election signed a peace accord in Abuja on Thursday.

The peace accord was organised by the National Peace Committee (NPC) is chaired by a former military Head of State, Abdulsalami Abubakar.

However, Tinubu’s running mate, Kashim Shettima stood on for him, other candidates present are, Peter Obi of the Labour Party, Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party, Rabiu Kwankwaso of the New Nigeria Peoples Party, Omoyele Sowore of the African Action Congress, among others.
