Social media influencer May Edochie, the ex wife of Nollywood actor Yul Edochie, has forwarded a hearty note to Jennifer Awele, the widowed wife of late actor Junior Pope.
The mother of four had taken to her Instagram page, to reveal that she cannot fathom what today feels like for her. She stated how posthumous birthdays could bring back painful memories and land one in deep thoughts.
However,she went on to admonish her to put in mind, today as a divinly birthday for Junior pope as he’s definitely celebrating with the heavens. Leaving her love and light,she urged her to be strong for her children.
Accompanied by screenshots of the actor’s last texts to his wife, she asked a lot of questions, enquiring when he would send the next feeding money as she noted how he sent feeding money for March before his untimely death. She questioned when he would send her the footwear he had promised her, who will cheer awele on her endowments,now that he is no more.
She went on to describe his death as traumatizing,but yet happened out of negligence,but in every case,God knows best.she wrote

It will forever remain ever green in our memories that late Nollywood actor Junior Pope with five others had lost their lives in a boat accident after drowning at Anam River on April 10th, 2024 while returning from a movie location.
Yesterday, May 7th, 2024, would have been the actor’s 44th birthday; unfortunately, he isn’t alive to witness it.
Some out of his many colleagues, like Rita Edochie, Nosa Rex, Rachael Okonkwo and Stanley Nwoko, marked his posthumous birthday. Leading the crew, Rita, his godmother, stated how she could no longer celebrate his birthday with him physically. She revealed that her heart once more felt broken as she threw some questions at him, concluding that her heart is condoled over the fact that he is watching over his family.
Going on his colleague Nosa Rex, otherwise known as Baba Rex, stated how they would have been celebrating his birthday. Meanwhile, since he hadn’t been laid to rest, he wished him a happy birthday.
Moreso,Rachael Okonkwo expressed grief on how she can no longer call him as usual to wish him a happy birthday as she said rip ‘oyom’ ,she prayed for God to accept his soul and grant him everlasting rest.
In conclusion,Stanley Nwoko stated how sad it is for him to celebrate his first birthday without his family,fans and colleagues. He confessed how heartbroken he is, and how death stole him away, and never to be seen forever,he concluded by giving thanks to God.
