Nigerian actress Uche Ogbodo has recently slammed one of the airlines in Nigeria for their unprofessionalism.
Ogbodo, who is a mother of three, shared that she had booked a direct flight from Qatar Airways to Guangzhou, China.
However, after spending three hours in Doha, she unexpectedly found herself on a Southern Sun flight to China, enduring an uncomfortable seat for almost eight hours.
She wondered if anyone else had experienced a similar situation and questioned why her flight was changed in Doha.
She also wondered if this was a common occurrence or if she was overreacting.
Observing that she spent N2 million for an economy flight, she expressed that the airline should have informed her about this, especially since she noticed cheaper options but intentionally chose comfort.
Unfortunately, she ended up feeling uncomfortable and experiencing pain.
“Can someone pls help me @qatarairways. Why I booked a flight straight to Guangzhou, China then after 3 hours in Doha, I found myself in China’s Southern Sun flight with the most uncomfortable seat and most awkward position for almost 8 hours straight.
Has This Happened to anyone before? Why did @qatarairways Change Flights at Transit in DOHA , going to China?
Is this the normal thing or I’m just Upset for Nothing?.
Is this even Right? Or I was just Robbed in Broad Day Light? . Mind you this was Flight of about 2M for economy .
@qatarairways You should have explained this ahead! I saw other Cheaper Airlines oooo but I decided to go with you because of Comfort! Only to be subjected to so much discomfort and pain!”.
Few months ago, Nkechi Blessing slammed Nigerian Airline for downgrading her on their flight.
The fair-skinned actress shared her unpleasant experience at the airport, where not only was she downgraded, but her afternoon flight was also rescheduled to the evening without any apology.
To make matters worse, instead of departing at the scheduled time, her flight was delayed for more than two hours.
In a similar incident last year, Alex Unusual expressed her disappointment with a popular Airbus for allegedly endangering the lives of passengers.
She accused the Airbus of taking off despite a technical problem, which eventually forced them to return to Lagos after flying for nearly an hour.
According to Alex, who accused the airline of playing with the safety of passengers, the turbulence during the flight caused people to almost faint.
Additionally, the landing was mentally stressful as it felt like the tires were not responding properly, constantly going up and down and turning round. She called on the airline to address and resolve these issues.
