Following being dragged by netizens, Nigerian comedian AY Makun tenders an apology to Davido for making a sensitive joke about him.

A video clip from an AY show in Warri has been making rounds on the internet, in the video AY had cracked a joke commenting on Davido’s numerous baby mama issues.

He made reference to the singers private part saying he had a “small penis” which he used in fathering many children, while he it took him who had a “big d!ck” 13 years to be able to get another child.

Netizens did not find this joke funny and have taken to social media to drag the comedian, They criticized AY for making such personal and potentially hurtful remarks about Davido and his family situation, and found the joke offensive and tasteless.

AY’s wife Mabel Makun had taken to her Instagram to address netizens dragging her husband as she stated that it was only a joke and that they should “rest”.

However, her husband AY has listened to netizens and taken a U-turn to apologize to singer Davido.

He took to his Instagram to tender an apology, accepting that the joke was off point and sensitive, he released it now and pleaded with not to reason the issues as he continues to remain the singer Davido’s number one fan.

“I am so sorry for telling that joke the way it came out in Warri. I shouldn’t even call it a joke anymore. It wasn’t funny like it was during my tour of the US and Canada, and you have every right to be angry after seeing how the blogs used it.

Please know that it is always a learning experience for all of us in the entertainment business. I deserve any backlash or negative thoughts coming my way for the joke that was badly delivered in Warri. So, no excuses at all, my Aburo. No reason am.
