Nollywood Actress Hilda Dokubo has expressed her thoughts on the unfortunate death of Junior Pope.
In an Instagram post, she stated that his passing could have been prevented if life jackets had been provided for everyone involved.
She specifically called out movie producer Adanma Luke for not ensuring the safety of all the actors.
Now, it is important to remember that Adanma Luke, a movie producer, recently spoke out about the incident that occurred two days ago. She used Instagram to express her deep sadness and devastation regarding the unfortunate event.
She also revealed that the incident has caused her significant trauma, as she blames herself for returning to Asaba. Additionally, she shared that life jackets were provided for Junior Pope, but he and others rejected them. Adama Luke also stated that she was supposed to be on the boat as well.
In relation to this, Wakadaily reported last Wednesday that Junior Pope had tragically drowned while returning from a filming location at Anam River in Anambra State.
Furthermore, actress Sarah Martins took to social media to criticize Adanma Luke, calling her movie a low-budget production and advising Nollywood producers to improve. However, she faced backlash from fellow actors and senior colleagues, leading her to apologize for her comments.
