‘Take your first salary to your father for blessings and not your pastor’ – Kanayo .O. Kanayo advise

Veteran Nollywood actor Kanayo Kanayo has a message for the public as he celebrates his son, Clinton, receiving his first salary.

In a video shared online, Kanayo Kanayo advises people to bring their first salary to their fathers for blessings instead of giving it to pastors.

He criticizes a clergyman who claimed that the first salaries of the year should be given to him, questioning if he ever considered how individuals would support themselves for the month.

Kanayo Kanayo challenges the clergyman by asking where in the Bible it states that people should give their first salary to pastors.

He urges Christians to wake up and realize that this is not true Christianity.

“Do not give your first Salary to your Pastor. After God, you have me, NOT YOUR PASTOR ”.

These people suffered for you, took care of you and sponsored you to reach where you are. If you make your first money, return to them to bless it, not your pastor”.

“Take your first SALARY to your father for his blessings, NOT TO YOUR PASTOR.
And to that Pastor who said it belongs to him in a video in January, did you ever consider the feeding/ transportation to and fro the office?”.

In January, Wakadaily reported that a pastor named Anosike gained popularity after claiming that the January salary of his congregation belonged to him, not to God or the individuals themselves.

He emphasized that the money should be used for his own well-being. Supporting this view, a Cameroonian pastor advised his congregants and Christians in general to give their January salary to their pastor.

He confidently stated that by doing so, people would attract more blessings and protect themselves from the enemy’s attacks and other unfortunate incidents.

Recently, kanayo stir reactions as he is seen involving his son in the movie industry. The experienced actor shared a video of himself and his son having breakfast, explaining that it was their first meal of the day due to a busy morning filming schedule.

He said that his son was quickly learning about the industry. However, this statement received mixed reactions, with some praising him for teaching his son about the industry and others criticizing him for involving the boy in it.
