‘Bobrisky isn’t our problem, go and find better work’ – Charly Boy calls out EFCC over crossdresser arrest

Popular singer Charles Oputa, better known as Charly Boy or Area Fada, has sent a message to the EFCC regarding the arrest of crossdresser Bobrisky.

He expressed on his Instagram post that Bobrisky is not the issue with Nigeria and advised the commission to focus on more important tasks.

He highlighted the double standards in which numerous government officials, ministers, and internet fraudsters freely display and spend money every day, without facing any consequences from the authorities. He emphasized that Bobrisky is not the nation’s main concern, as he blast them for their moral judgement.

Charly Boy emphasized to the EFCC that their primary focus should be on recovering illicit funds taken by politicians.

“EFCC make una go find better work and leave Bobrisky alone I beg una.

Sake bcos e spray money?

Do you know how many, civil servants, ministers yahoo old men spraying money on a daily?

Bobrisky is not our problem since you guys are no moral police. Ur work na to retrieve stolen money from the criminal group of Politicians.

But I can see dat APC people are still using the tactics from dia old playbook syndicated by Dia cash and carry influencers distracting the people with nonsense since dey can’t focus.

*This una New Electricity Tariff, who wan pay when we can barely eat?

Is dis how you people want to kill us by making great sacrifices for ur Owambe lifestyle?

Una no go die better.

Nonsense

Dia fathers”.

It is already widely known that Bobrisky has been apprehended by the Economic and Financial Crime Commission for supposedly engaging in currency mutilation and the improper handling of the Naira.

Last week, on Friday, he admitted to misusing Naira currency during his court appearance and requested the court and judge for a second opportunity.

He assured that he would utilize his platform effectively to educate and inform his followers regarding the act of throwing money around, while pleading with the judge to show mercy. Regrettably, the judge did not pardon his misconduct and postponed his case until April 9th.

Many famous individuals and online influencers have expressed their support following his arrest.

Few hours ago, Yomi Fabiyi, an actor, expressed his support for Bobrisky by saying that he is thinking about and praying for him. Fabiyi reassured Bobrisky that the difficult situation he is facing will eventually come to an end, and encouraged him to remain resilient.

Paulo O, the partner of Iyabo Ojo, has made a heartfelt plea to the EFCC, acknowledging that he and over 2 million Nigerians are  misuse of the Nigerian currency.

Eniola Ajao, the actress whose events resulted in his arrest, expressed remorse for his detention and showed unwavering support for Bobrisky, while pleading with the EFCC on his behalf.

Furthermore, Simi Gold, an actress and skincare specialist who had previously been arrested and faced similar charges, expressed her affection for Bobrisky. She encouraged her friend to remain resilient and have faith, assuring him that he would emerge from this situation even stronger.

Luminee, a famous stylist, expressed her love and support to him, sending heartfelt wishes and assuring him that his position as a leader is secure.

James Brown, his colleague, also offered his support, stating that he has been unable to sleep or relax properly since hearing about Bobrisky’s arrest. He encouraged Bobrisky to stay strong and expressed his sympathy for him.
