Elon Musk announce temporary reading limits on Twitter

The world’s richest man, founder, Chief Executive Officer and Product Architect of Tesla, Elon Musk, has announced new twitter policies on the platform, following complaints of the app crashing today.

The new policy ”will address extreme levels of data scraping and system manipulation”.

Chairman of social media platform Twitter, announced this on his official Twitter page on Saturday.

The CEO states that verified accounts are temporarily limited to reading 6,000 posts a day, while unverified accounts are limited to reading 600 posts a day.

The post read: “To address extreme levels of data scraping & system manipulation, we’ve applied the following temporary limits:
– Verified accounts are limited to reading 6000 posts/day
– Unverified accounts to 600 posts/day
– New unverified accounts to 300/day.”

The new policy came hours after the social media platform was suffering from a global outage, which prevented thousands of users from accessing the app.
