I had one person in mind while writing my latest single – Mayorkun

Nigerian vocalist and songwriter Adewale Mayowa Emmanuel, popularly known as Mayorkun/Mayor of Lagos, tweeted on his page that he had just one person in mind when he wrote his latest single ‘No Competition’  but to his surprise, his fans can relate to it.

The superstar releases his first single of the year 2022 titled ‘Certified Loner’ (No Competition) on 17 June, after his last album ‘Back in Office.’

Mayor of Lagos said, “I wrote this song with just ONE person on my mind but the fact that you guys can relate to it too is such a blessing I can’t start to explain like this.”
