Pastor E. A Adeboye, a famous Nigerian religious leader and the founder of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, has faced criticism for advising Nigerians facing difficulties to seek help from God.

Adeboye delivered this message at the RCCG headquarters in Ebute-Metta on Sunday, June 2nd, during the June Thanksgiving service titled ‘Lifter Up of My Head’.

He expressed that if someone requires assistance or is facing difficulties, they should seek help from Jehovah El-Shaddai. He emphasized that God is abundantly sufficient and will fulfill their necessities.

He said: “If you need provision if things are hard, and I know things are hard for quite a few of us, call on the one whose name is Jehovah El-Shaddai, the God who is more than enough. Call on Him – the one who is more than enough, and He will meet your needs…He has many ways, depending on what is your needs.

When all ways are blocked, call on Him who is called the way when you don’t even know what’s going on.”

He warned them against criticizing and ridiculing him, stating that they would face unfortunate consequences if they continued with such behavior.
