In Exodus 32, the Lord wanted to destroy the people of Israel after they have made for themselves a golden calf as their god.
It was Moses that interceded for them. He pleaded on God to consider his promises to Abraham and Isaac and not destroy the people he brought to the promised land.
God destroying them for their sins would have been justified. Moses supporting God and urging him to go ahead with his plan would have been justified too. But No, Moses took the bold step to be the intercessor.
How many times have we really interceded for others? How many times have we been among people gossipping and spoiling the name of others and we stood for them to correct the gossipers?
All what we need most times is just that one person who will always be there for us to stand for us. Sometimes, we just need that one person that will take a chance on us and give us another opportunity. That one person that will give good recommendation or mention us to their boss.
Please be that one person to your friend(s). Uplift them, don’t bring them down. We should grow together. We rise by lifting others.
